Jane, Tess and Libby went to the Top Drawer Trade Show at Olympia earlier on in the month and found some wonderful vintage inspired handmade jewellery by a company called Demoda. At trade shows you seem to find that a lot of the jewellery is the same, and that there isn’t a lot of originality, just regurgitated designs. However when we saw the Demoda stand, we were ‘ahh’-ing and ‘oooo’-ing over their collection. The jewellery is dainty, feminine and incredibly chic. The collection features, vintage pocket clocks, roses, keys, cameos and even tea cups! We, of course, placed an order, and the jewellery is now in store and online. Check out http://www.stuartsshoes.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=17_20 for our range. Until then, below are a sneak preview of what we have to offer you! It is all too pretty!

For the second A/W season, the over the knee boot has been the star of all boots. Whether heeled, or flat, these boots have been a massive hit amongst all fashion forward consumers, with top designers and the hight street producing numerous styles, in numerous colours. Our favourite celeb’s are putting their fashion feet forward with these beauties, and we can’t help but follow suit.
We have recently received a delivery of over the knee boots from the brand Softwaves. Softwaves were established in 2003, and their brand principles lay upon a foundation of brand new shoe technology and up to the minute trends. Their name derives from their famous soles, the ‘Wave Message’ which gives the foot a soft supported sole. Made in Portugal these ‘marine’ blue boots are extraordinarily comfortable and classy. The image makes them look black, but they are actually a very deep blue, hence for the name ‘marine’. Made from nappa leather, they are incredibly soft and their quality is second to none. If you are looking for a sturdy boot that will take you through the winter without compromising on style, then these are the boots for you. RRP: £150. We cannot get enough of Ravel this season…. ‘Halo’… a multi coloured snake print stiletto court shoe with a chunky platform are now in store and online!
With London Fashion Week in full swing, we’ve had our eyes on what people are wearing on their feet. Usual Autumn/Winter colours such as black, navy & brown are of course a popular choice. But then we have this seasons joker… the python print is prancing around making a scene and proving a point that we don’t all have to follow the classic (however boring) trend of dark, dull colours. For those that have the courage, the lilac python shoe is the fun and flirty alternative to the standard winter shades, and our Ravel ‘Halo’ shoe is a perfect combination of colour, comfort and class.
For those of you who are a little cautious about leaping out of your fashion blanket with these promiscuous python print pair…. we have also ordered ‘Halo’ in patent black. Both are available in store and online, at www.stuartsshoes.co.uk.

We’re giving Stuarts Shoes fans a heads up… for those out there who will not leave the house on a Saturday night without skyscrapers on their feet… we are expecting in a delivery of Ravel heels VERY soon.
The Ravel ‘Holiday’ Shoe (pictured below) is a very elegantly shaped ankle boot with a slim stiletto heel. The lace detailing would look stunning when worn with either denim or black jeans. Or wear with tight ‘wet-look’ leggings, a plunging silk blouse and an oversized blazer for a sensuous tailored ‘borrowed from the boys’ look, the ‘Holiday’ boots will add a feminine spin.
This season everyone is dressing in the most delicate of fabrics. Lace was once reminiscent of ‘nanny’s nighty’… however dressed up or dressed down, this season’s most popular material can be worn girlie, glamorous or prim and proper. Forget your sequins and glitter, this season we’re going for an understatement with subtly suitable lace.
The nude and black ‘combo’ was recently pushed to the front of the fashion highway when Rhianna was snapped in an Alexander Wang dress. We appreciate that its nice to be individual and to not follow the crowd, so we have only ordered limited sizing, so make sure you’re the first ones to grab a pair. We will of course be in touch as soon as they are in!!
