August will see the arrival of a new collection of military inspired boots from the brand Ravel (http://ravelshoesonline.co.uk/). This will be the third season Ravel have been at Stuart’s Shoes and the collection due in is incredible! We’re all VERY excited to try on all the different styles…..!! Military boots continue to be a massive hit… they’re a little bit grundgy, a little bit edgy and very British. Below is a ‘Stuart’s Shoes How To…’ of how to pull off the Military boot look:
How To Combat the Military Boots:
1. Leggings: Wearing military boots with leggings will always look great. Wearing a long top, tunic or jumper dress will keep you cosy and comfortable on a chilly autumn day. This look is always a winner!
2. Shorts: For a festival vibe, denim shorts and military boots adds a more current approach to the shorts/welly boot combo. Add a pair of printed semi-opaque tights if it gets cold! For a more elegant and edgy (less rolling around in the countryside) look, wear your military boots with leather shorts or sequinned hot-pants, a chiffon shirt and a boyfriend blazer.
3. Skinny Jeans: A guaranteed hit is the skinny jean tucked into military boot combo. For a fresher look, try coloured skinny jeans… our favourite jeans at the minute are bright tomato red ones! These with a plain white t-shirt and your military boots would look fantastic!
4. The Kate Moss: The muse continues to inspire all with her simple outfits… wear a pretty tea dress with a leather jacket and your military boots for a chic Moss inspired creation.
Here’s some of our favourite looks…
